It's been very frustrating (i won't go into details, but I am pretty angry right now, at both him and the universe).
But the world will keep turning, so it's one day at a time.
Went through this with both of my parents back around 1989-90 Matt. My mom, and 6 months later my dad passed away. Went through all the trips to and from hospital, care centers, etc., and it was a very emotional process. Now we've just started going through the process of dealing with our oldest daughter's cancer treatment, and it's even harder than what we went through with my parents. I'll be praying for you and your dad, and hope all goes easier for you!

I know what you mean about being angry with him. My Dad wouldn't get proper health care or tell any of us about his health issues until it was too late to do much. He/we went thru he!! for a year once he finally got treatment, but it wasn't effective.
This is an especially difficult time of year to have loved ones terminally ill or passing. Put the anger on a shelf for now and make the most of the time he has left.
Our thoughts and support are with your family.
My dad's funeral was 9 days before Christmas of 1972. My mother's funeral was exactly 2 months before that. I was just 20 years old. Dad died of lung cancer and mom had a heart attack. You'll get through it. It's just not easy.

Hey Guys. I'm still alive and well

I haven't posted on here since April 18th. Just been busy living life, having fun, and serving The Lord. Now that winter has settled in, I will have time to hang out here some again. I'm sure I've missed out on the completion of several projects. I'll be keeping up for a while again at least. See you on the forum. And a Merry Christmas
from Allan, Rebecca and Franchesca

I'm sorry, hope it gets easier real soon.

tech69 yesterday I had a problem with keeping the tunnel opening from flattening out when tipping the edges of the tunnel so I brainstormed this "highly technical" idea of using a chunk of composite bat to hold it in place while working around it. Worked like a charm but in the area where it goes to a point causes a stretch or displaced metal which will have to be shrunk with a disk, but other than that it's looking good. If this weren't on the bottom of the tank I would maybe consider a buck next time. Next is the important part of fitting up to the back of the tank, scribing, cutting the tunnel on the tank, taping it down and checking for evenness on the bike. Coming along and almost ready to buy some primer to start body work.

You family will be in my families prayers as well. It's all in God's will. All we have to do is leave it up to him and he will see that our loved ones no longer suffer. When they do leave this world they are going to a better place. This has helped me to deal with lost friends and family many times over.

loft in the shop.

When I was building my 40 X 120 ft shop I got a couple house trailer frames free, I cut then down to 40 ft, and some 8 ft long 2 inch water pipe for legs. one is for wood storage by all the wood working equipment and the other one ended up having a lot of My kids excess stuff that should be donated

Sometimes there are no easy answers Matt. Your emotions are normal I am sure. Sometimes we just have to realize that we can not control the events that evolve in our lives. I hope you can put this burden in God's hands and believe he can offer piece to your father. All you can do is offer him your love and support.

I will have your family in my prayers.

John
