The weather here has been crazy with a warm spell that popped the buds early my apple trees have already bloomed, the cherrys are blooming but the lilacs are still dormant, a week ago the trees were bare my pear trees already bloomed but my red buds are still dormant, now its cold again LOL !

It was so cold at the show my knees never quit shacking so I didn't take many pics !

That "Candy Aztec Gold" coupe was immaculate the lacquer paint was flawless and Deep, it brought back memorys of my younger years ! Lacquer, no billet, old skool ,wide whites, thin tires !! That was the first time I saw that car !

There were no trailer queens at the show

Our maples started budding and they froze.. Frost watches in S WI/N IL tonite... Crazy!

Dang. You and my wife were practically neighbors. We turned off the freeway at 57 to 66 and south to Ionia.... We go thru your area all the time, we come from the north across the bridge... This summer we plan on taking our 5th wheel down and staying at Snow Lake Campground in Fenwick off 66...

Gotta love the coupes...... My wife wants to get out of my coupe and back into a muscle car. If I bought another '68 GTO my wife and kid would be very happy with me. About killed me when I sold it. I would rather have '66, '71/'72 w/455 like my '68. Had a '72 LeMans w/350 back in the day....

I went to the Sconic for a few minutes but the wind was terrible. Not many out and none of us stayed too long.

John long Went to the basement this afternoon. Found a '36 Ford roadster under about 1/4 inch of dust.....

Said to myself, "self, if this old girl will start after sitting all winter without jumping her off I am going to the Sonic."

Turned key, fuel pump clicked for 20 seconds, hit the starter. SHE LIVES!

I spent about 30 minutes rinsing the worst of the crud off her ane we went "as we were."

I declare spring has arrived and I have now been to my first cruise in. I promise to do better about pictures in the future but I had a really good time tonight.
