Turn Signal relay

Thanx fellas. Mustangs Unlimited has the new electronic version that replaces the mechanical relays. Not going to fight it anymore. Just gonna bite the bullet.

new mustang sequential

I saw a new mustang the other day and it had sequential lights. I don't know if is factory or after market. I don't know what year cougars changed to solid state parts.

Actionjk I remember working on a 68 Cougar with sequencial turnsignals at a Ford Mercury dealer in the early 70s,all I remember was in the trunk, right behind the rear seat back, was a whole panel of relays, flashers, and miles of wire,I know I fixed it,but it took a couple days!

LATECH I just saw a sequential setup, all new solid state, LED on TV. It was on Stacy Davids show- Gearz .
He had a setup for a 67 cougar called the interceptor.
Cant think of the vendor, but they are out there.

t bird parts.

The early cougars used T bird parts and those can have problems with moisture , relays, motors, what ever. later years use solid state parts, more reliable. you might find some info on a T bird Forum.

Turn Signal relay

I have a 1967 Cougar with turn signal problems. Does anybody know where the turn signal relay (flasher) is located ? Sequential cam works, emergency flasher works, but no turn indicators front or back and no dash lights. I replaced switch in steering column. Oh, and we checked the bulbs and fuses.
