You have all my respect! I am trying to figure out how to get some room for my son's car and I see how you have done it and I am humbled. Your passion for this hobby is great, you skills are endless and you have all my respect!

You ALL have more room, and better working conditions than I have! I have a very tight, small one car garage, and a old Costco canopy in the backyard that serves as my work area all year round. I put down gravel and plywood for a floor in the canopy to make it more comfortable to work on. I've built two cars from the ground up in the canopy, and it's a challenge, but I get it done.
Just barely enough room to walk around my tiny car! The Austin is 12' long and 4.5' wide, so you can see how tight it is!
Built it and the Falcon in this space. A 10'x20' canopy, including shooting epoxy primer in January! Had to turn the heat off to spray, then back on to dry it!:

Here we go fellas. Still moving things into my new lair. Its not my shop, but my home hotrodder's heaven. '59 numbers matching factory ordered 2 door v-8 belair. Just one of the many projects I have.

You can't compare a Delorean with a Pantara. A Delorean was basically transportation where as a Pantera was a more of a fast sports car. A better comparison for a Pantera would be a Jag, Ferrari, Lambo, or possible a de-tuned GT40 with better seating. It never had the distinction of being a rich mans toy nor was it ever as sophisticated as some of the Euro cars. It definitely could be made to go fast!

Some things were extremely advanced for a car of that era, and some things were rushed. Some things are simply not understood (like how to burp the radiator of a mid engine car). They did not fair well on winter salty roads.
Cars of that era such as the Camero, Mustang, etc are value based often on numbers matching, build sheet, etc. The Pantera is the opposite. It seems to be a platform people launch from. Good modifications only help the value and functionality of the cars. If you look around I would say the majority are modified and better cars then when they came out.
There are some fantastic examples out there and they do real well on a track even against modern cars. They are a car an average guy can work on unlike many of the exotic cars.
Theya re kind of a cross between an exotic sports car and a 32 Ford hot rod.
