Rodnit Nowadays, you don't even have to take the key(fob) out of your pocket to drive the car. Push button start/stop. You can lock the doors by hitting a button on the drivers outside door handle. To unlock all the doors just grab the drivers handle and all the doors unlock, including the drivers. Fob never has to leave your pocket unless you want to use the remote start.

Now to convince the wife to leave hers in her purse.....

Thought about moving the rears to the front, but decided my manual steering box might be taxed.

I contacted Summit Racing this morning, and the sales person told me they had one in their system, so ordered it. Now have to wait and hope it truly is identical, and will be correct size and design!
Mine have the stamped aluminum outer rim, where new are cast and machined. Both look good, but sure don't want to have to go wider, and buy two also!
Here's old and new in this picture. American went back to the design as is on the car in this picture, and the wheel sitting beside is what I have now:

I have never owned a car for more than a few days without having a key hidden on it. And it's like an umbrella, if you have it, it doesn't rain.

tech69 had a fight with an air file and guess who won? If I retaliate I could throw it on the floor to destroy it but it would still win.

Hey, at least I'm not facing REAL work place danger like popping grease at Mc Donalds.

I see. On lots of cars you can cut a key without the chip. It won't start the car but it will unlock the door and get you to the key that will.

John long I cut my old quarter panel off today. I am making tangs so I can mount it flush ready to butt weld. That way I can scribe for the wheel well flange and know it is in the correct location.....Well, hope it is in the right location.
