I am thinking there needs to be a "come on man" thread dedicated to showcase the oddest most ridiculous rides (OK so beauty is in the eye of the beholder),,,,

This baby cost more than 300K to build and is a vette with possibly the ugliest body style attached,,,come on man!

If this car is the one I am thinking about it is indeed a Black Widow 57. The wife of the original owner had driven the car to KMart and had not noticed a light pole in the parking lot. They had to replace the bumper, grill, radiator and hood but could only find a good 6 cylinder hood in their price range. He later traded it for a brand new Chevette.

I remember he was really upset because he felt like the fact that it had the wrong hood should not have impacted the trade in value like it did.

The salesman bought the car for the 1600 trade in value and put the car up where it still sits today. Wrong hood and all.

Thanks John I will be taking Dave with me as he owns a real black widow, and a clone i will check to see if it has a SEDCO plate on it or Dale Swanson id if there is any paper work on the car see if it tracks back to Hugh Babb as ALL Competition cars were registered in his name ,something to do with Voiding warranty,i will check all the things I know and have Dave check it also,i was talking to him he gave me several things to look for and he knows the lady who owns it.

I learned something today all cars did not come black and white ,But they ALL left Sedco as black and white as designated by Vince Piggens as Competition Coupes nick named black widows some of the Detroit built cars were races with different colors

WOW, it looks as though somebody went to the trouble of grafting a Vista Cruiser roof on that MOPAR to make a wagon...it does look kinda cool. I did like the Corvettes that they did in the late 60's and early 70's that way, when they where done right. For me, If I had a Corvette, Challenger or Cuda of that vintage, I don't know if I would have courage to turn it into a wagon.

There are some super cars on that link, holy cow.

And again we go to that "Oh come on that sucks" and "Oh come on now, that is friggin AWESOME!"

What a beauty this is!

And how about an "OH MY GOD, come on, that is so friggin cool I want to cry".

Ok, I have searched and only found this one picture on the Pinecrest edelbrock vette van ? | concept / custom cars nothing else. Have any of you seen this before or is photo shopped? By the reflections on the "hood" I think it's a fake, they look like the reflections on the roof, something isn't right.
