|DanTwoLakes||It would have to be thinner to be able to be molded and hold a shape. You're the customer, what would you prefer? I would rather have heavier wool carpet in my car, and that is not easily molded. It would have to be cut to shape and sewed together.|

New carpet question
I'm having the a new custom interior put in my 57 Chevy. The guy doing it is very good and I've seen his work at several shows. My question is he is suggesting I go with the type of carpet that can be molded when heated. He said it fits really nice and looks great. It seems kind of thin to me. I do have jute padding to glue under it. Does anyone have any experience with this type of carpet and does it hold up well?
