The seats will probably fit just fine, but not with the console. An '08 Ford is much wider then '60s pickups. Ask the seller for the dimensions then measure your Chebbie. A for instance - I have had a '97 and an '01 F150 and could not reach the passenger's side door from the driver's seat. My FIL had a '62 Chevy 3/4T and as I recall while working on it that was not a problem for me to reach that far door. Gotta say, those newer Ford are nice riding seats even without the console ( I have an F350 now)

the problem with newer seats, isn't always the width.
most times it's the thickness of the bottom and back
bottom brings legs to close to the wheel, and back puts you on top of the wheel..
can't be that hard to find that same year ford on a lot to measure the seat local..
and why the truck boards have threads on how to shorten the column

Look at the back of the cab on the 08. You will see it is extended at the back of the seat area to make room for the aforementioned thickness. The cab on a 65 c 10 is a box. Straight up and down. Most likely if the seat goes in, you wont be able to fold the back down to the point that it is comfortable. likely will be straight up and down. Also will end up way too close to the steering wheel.Newer trucks are more ergonimic, older trucks .....not so much.
Also as mentioned, width will be an issue also.
I would recommend fixing the seat you have

If I recall, that vintage Chebbie had the gas tank behind the seat - hopefully the OP will be taking it out, replacing it with something under the bed and in a safer location. That would give a bit more room.

As far as tracks - they have plenty of adjustment for placing a seat. You just have to make sure you take that into account when placing the seats.

My biggest gripe with many new seats are the head rests with to me just look wrong in an older vehicle

The width is the main problem. It's tough to drive if you can't close the doors. You are going to need to look for the smaller pick-up seats like the Ranger, S-10, or Dakota, or eliminate the console. Either way, I'd buy them for that price.

Im 5.9 170lbs.the main reason im looking for newer seats is because the middle console/seat and the built in seat belts.I want my 5yr old son to be able to go to car shows with the girlfriend and I.I also want him to be as safe as possible and her. I can't imagine either one of them being injected through the window.I heard the 04-up Chevy/gm seats are almost a direct bolt in with only modification being drilling two extra holes. my father drives a 05 GMC that has the seats with a seat belts and center console that turns into a seat. I'll take measurements from it and it he will allow ill remove it and see exactly how it fits. as far as what seats are having a truck now they are to captain seats from the 80's van. they have the solid flat base on the bottom and arm rest on both sides.they will be for sale soon if anyone is interested. I think this was popular mod in the 90s to put van seats in. also I'll be doing the gas tank relocation to the rear frame. I googled all the information on what fuel filter cell to use.its going to drop right between the rails like it was meant for the truck.ill be filling it up throw the bed.if anyone needs the measurements on what size fuel cell they need for their 60-66 trucks lmk I wrote all this stuff down. this fuel cell will slide right between your fuel rails

how many gallons is that??
the blazer tank is 21 gallons and the kit requires you to notch one bed cross support, and hangs down about even with the rear end with 2.5" lowering blocks..

this link shows how to add a intank efi pump factory set up from a newer g.m. truck/full size suv.. in the 67-72 blazer tank

the seat thing and being safe.. that great and all.. but for the inseat belts to work, you need to run heavy floor braces to hold the seat and those in it. if you ever get hit.. the old seat mounts and or new holes in the floor won't cut it.. you'll just rip the seat out of the floor..

you can add another set of belts from a full sized cars rear seat that bolt to the floor and you'd add a 4"x4" plate to strengthen the mounting points.. and it only need to support a child/child&car seat if in a wreck,
asking the 60's cab floor to hold back up to 500lb in a wreck is asking for trouble

My truck having the 04 vortec engine in it made the previous owner run electric fuel pump.idk if its cause the block doesn't have a place/hole in the block for a manual fuel pump or maybe he just wanted to use an electric feel pump.Im just running the fuel cell and mounting the fuel pump on my frame. I decided against using the F 150 seats. I went and measured my dads 05 GMC seat and it came out to 5.9 which is perfect for a 65 truck. I'm not just going to bolt it to the floor. im going to put a piece metal plate on the backside of where the seat bolts so is reinforced . the floorboard would be nice and sandwiched in between the metal plate and the seat mounting area.

No offense, but what is the distance between the two doors on your '65, and what does the seat you found measure? Off the top of my head, no, the seat won't fit, but you need to measure.
