Geez, what's left of it, a lug nut? I can't imagine the shape of the car if John says it is too rusty to start on.

I am glad you found the needed parts to continue, and at what seems to be a reasonable price too.

Not without a good deal of modification. It also would not be one of the frames that had the stiffeners in the frame rails. Thanks for looking though.

John long A fellow just posted a 53 hardtop tonight for sale. He is supposed to send me some pictures tomorrow. The price is right and it is only about 90 miles from here. Got my fingers crossed.

I got the trunk area cleaned up today. Tomorrow I am going to get some more all-thread and cut the tack welds loose holding the front and back together. Then I can pick the body shell up and trial fit the trunk floor.

Stick895 Well, the guy that runs Classic Cars of South Carolina had a 53 coupe. He apparently is not inclined to deal but maybe if enough of us went by, ya know?
