yeah I'll talk fords. Just picked up a 67 mustang coupe for a song, ruff shape but got qtrs, floors, fender,a couple of hoods, no eng or trans, various other parts for about a 100bucks. then a guy gave me a 78 f150 with a 351w and C6 that runs free.I'll use the engine for the stang and some of the body parts for my F250(77) and build a trailer out of the back half.Another guy wants to give me a 79 lincoln towncar with a nice running 400M and C6 with rear discs and under 100k(needs a brake line)good body and interior.I just finished a 66 lincoln sedan for somebody(paint and body)nice car with suicide doors.
At least they are mining the database and at least someone wanted to talk Fords. I've got a 66 Fairlane/Galaxie, so if you 66 Falcon owners have a wiring diagram on file I would sure appreciate a copy.
Fords Rule...........
IS THERE A PARTICULAR DIAGRAM YOU NEED. I BOUGHT THE BOOK AND THERE ARE A LOT OF PICS THAT ARE AVAILABLE. IF YOU WANT TO CHECK OUT MY CAR PROJECT CHECK OUT MY WEB PAGE http://langans.homestead.com/Message_Center.html

66Retro, went to your webpage, nice, I see that your Falcon looks about in the same condition as our Fairlane. .
Rundown on the Fairlane/Galaxie, it was marketed and sold here as a Fairlane 500, yet its a full size Ford body the same as a Galaxie. Part numbers indicate the it was sent here in CKD form from Ford Canada, up till 1968 we got our Fords from Canada, and after that we got them from Australia, something to do with commonwealth nations and prices etc, but all of them were a bit of a mixture of years. I have enclosed a pic so you can see what I mean. We bought it off a friend who originally bought it just for the engine and gearbox, we got the rest of it for about $50. Engine and gearbox are not a problem as we have a spare inline 6 & motor looking for a home. But, the wiring is another story. They just cut the looms off, did'nt even try and disconnect anything. Whats left is not in good shape either, mostly hard and some of it looks fried.
So guess I am looking for the wiring diagram for the 1966 Fairlane and/or Galaxie. If you can send it to me I will PM you with my e-mail address.
Thanks
I hope i can talk about Mercurys too. started my 65 comet last night. rebuilt 289, .448, .472 cam ported heads, edelbrock performer 600 cfm carb. hooker super comps. ran it long enough to adjust the valves and tune the carb and the water pump went out. started spilling antifreeze all over from the check hole. can't get a new pump till friday. this sucks.
Its a 69 Torino GT with a 460 Lincoln motor, TCI trans and line lock on the ratchet shifter. The body is decent.....now...new rear quarters and big and little tires with air shocks.
Speaking of Mercs........78 Zepher.....bet you don't see too many of these anymore, they all rusted into the ground. This was my mom's car. 80,000 km (50,000 miles).......................
I beleive im getting there......showing myself around here.
:welcome:
