I've got new rear springs and shocks coming for a 49 chev
Will this cut out some of the body roll?
Any one fit torsion bars to their old ride?

Not quite what you are asking but I have seen it done on a dirt modified. Dad had a '57 canadian frame chevy that they ran torsion bars to the rear. Also had adjustment bolts to dial them in. To locate the rear it was also converted to a basic 4 link with coilover shocks to support the weight. This one would squat under throttle and rise back up out of it. Ran 33" sprint car tires.

They may have used vw stuff for the bars and mount hardware and I think they attached them under the floor on the driveshaft side of the outer frame.
