Anyone planning to run this beast? Looks really good and will make a great add on to a Rod project. I am planning on adding a Speed Demon to my 65 Chevelle, any shared experience with either one of these carbs would be appreciated. Or, how about a 174 Roots blower by Weiand, any one running that setup?? I am just looking for info on these bolt on HP additions.

I'm running a 750 Speed Demon right now. I love it, but they are kinda hard to get tuned right if you didn't get the correct carb for the job. We had to do a few modifications to my carb to get it all dialed in. Before getting one of these carbs it's good to call Barry Grant Tech and tell them about what setup you plan on running mainly your cam specs and they will hopefully give you the correct carb to run.

My cam had a little to much duration for the speed demon and we had to basically turn it into a Mighty Demon to get it tuned right. It's nothing that I wasn't prepared for because I've read alot about the Demon's after I got mine and new what to expect. Once it's tuned it ran perfect, it's a very good carb and looks great too.

Berry Grant-Road Demon jr.

Thanks for responding jamnut. I was reading the Summit catalog about the 4brl Road Demon 525cfm and 625cfm and 725cfm carbs. I was looking for information on the new 2brl carbs but haven't found any either?? Saw an article in one of my car mags. but haven't found it again? I'm running a 350 stroked with a 400 crank, flat top pistons and 525 duration on the roller cam? I am used to running the stock configuration cam and this set up confuses me, I don't want to try and run the wrong carb to begin with.
