|dallam1||Details, details. We need more of them. Yes, the 307 exhaust manifolds will fit the 455 heads but you will have to use the 455 x-over pipe but it will perfectly connect to the 307 manifolds. The engine will fit perfectly on the 307 motor mounts but the engine will be about 1 1/2" higher so if you are running it in a G-body, you might have to "section" the a/c. All in all it's a great and worth while project. I could give you more info if I knew more details.|

|roys63||The olds 455 will go right in with most of the 307 brackets for alt etc. and some longer belts. the wiring will be same for the most part for the starter and senders, etc.you will need to change the exhust pipes they will be to short , i don't remember if the 307 manifolds will bolt to 455 heads, but in the long run i think the olds will be cheaper to install.And a lot more Power!I am sure someone will give you more info on this.|

Which is easier? Swapping my tired Olds 307C.I. for a Olds 455c.i. or a SBC? I want this swap to be as smooth as possible. Are there detailed actic
