Shawn Asseln What if I went with just a 700R4 to start with? would this make it a bolt-in install? I use this car as my only daily driver and I cannot afford to have it down for more than a weekend. But I gotta get more power out of the thing, I get passed daily by Yugos and Metros. And on top of it all my Wife would in no way let me use her car because I wanted to shoehorn something else to go "faster" in mine. I quess if there is a kit out there to do it, great, show me where. As far as a tranny, I have acess to whatever style i need.

roys63 You buy a kit that goes between the back of the 350 trans and uses a 700 r4 tail shaft housing?, i think that they are pricey or you can build a bracket and bolt the arm to the floor. you must watch your pinion angel, we raced one using the bracket deal for about 6 years befor changing to a bigger rear

Alright, I know little about GM's and have my beater chicken with a 2.8 liter pile of underpowered junk. I also have a ZZ4 355 laying in my shop with a 350 turbo and was thinking of gettin the two together since I aquired a hemi for my coupe. Was wondering what to I need to put these two together? I would like to leave the rear end alone but is it possible with that tourque tube stuff? Anybody famillar with these cars will be a great help. Thanxs
