out of room

It's so easy to run out of room. I've got a 28 x 42 3 bay shop.
Mill, lathe , surface grinder, vertical and horizontal bandsaw+workbenches on one side. 4 Post lift (in the bay to the right of the picture, newly added), MIG,TIG,Plasma cutter, blast cabinet, benches, and 2 large storage cabinets along with all sorts of parts on far wall. Wash tank, sheet metal brake and shear, and the built in crane. (thank the guy who built the garage) Compressor in a seperate shed
behind the shop. All heated and insulated. Now if only I could fit a couple of cars in....
You can run out of room fast.
I'll try and post some new pictures as soon as it stops snowing.

Garages

Hey Malibucdl, I think you've got a car in there. If only I had a scanner I'd show mine. Trust me, mines got more in it!

Malibucdl This is how mine looks right now. Standard 2 car garage, painted floor, and way too much crap!!!

I can't wait till we get our storage shed!!!

Kevin45 40Ford...Open your pic in MIcrosoft Paint and save it as a JPG instead of a BMP and it should be fine.

garages

I've got a 20 by 22 garage that I really wish wasn't in Wisconsin. Seriously, it's better than nothing while working on my '78 Monte. Guess i'll insulate before next winter.

chevyguy5288 I do not have pictures yet but my garage is my hideaway. It is 2 cars wide and 45 ft deep. It has gas hot air heat, drain in the floor to wash cars, stereo, tv with cable, front half is for everyday drivers and has work bench and tv, glass front showcases on side walls for models with lighting on them, pictures with those light bulbs built in.
The back half is the work area with all the toys ya need. The front and back are seperated by 4 hinged 4 x 8 panels on hinges. conserves heat and neighbors cannot see as much if door is open

Stitch You guys are so lucky having big yards with the space for nice workshops . With the UK being a much smaller place all the houses are closer together unless your way up the ladder . The average garage that comes with a house is 8 X 16 , my house was built in 1902 before there were any cars around - I don't even have a drive and trying to rent anything of a decent size is too expensive just to use for a hobby .
I'm trying to find something right now for when the 55 gets here

Maybe it'd be better if I left my 55 in the US and just moved myself to where it is
