12 Volt Lead
Just a 12 Volt lead wire. Use the frame for ground. I have the same truck and I am looking for a new seat also. If you can, please post a photo of what ever you end up with. I have just finished doing the power brake under the floor and am starting to move the gas tank to the rear frame. I hope to make a small electronics drawer to fit under the seat for the sound system. Keep me posted.

|Hot Rod Up||We got the seat with the Factory risers on it. I think you have to space up the middle. But, that is a 60/40. On a bench I think it should set right in.|

A 1997 Full size chevy seat will fit in a 1958 truck.

Not sure about the second series but for the 47-55 first a late 70's or early 80's Olds Tornado split bench will fit and has the fold down console. I don't think the bolt pattern is the same and you'll probably have to fab up a mount but it should fit even better in the second series trucks since they are a tad wider.
