Pete and Jakes center section?

Am building up a "32 ford frame, for a High Boy. using a pete and jakes center section. I've found that the bottom tubes hang down below the frame, and can be seen, when squatting and looking from the side. the tubes come pre-welded. I think that it's a crying shame that I must "butcher" a brand new, high dollar part, in order to have it hidden, as it should be. Or should I let the tubes hang down in th' breeze? And be seen by all? All my efforts have been toward having everything neatly tucked up between the rails with nothin' hangin' down below them.

Anyone else had this problem? Or am I just being too picky?

Personally I think you're being a little too picky. It was designed that way for a reason. There isn't a lot of room in there for all the stuff that needs to pass through. Come to think about it, I'm not even sure it's possible to have everything tucked up in that little space, especially if you intend to drive it.
