I also went with the Victor Jr's on my 347 stroker. Bought them bare, installed Ferrea's with 5 angle cut. Also ran a Victor Jr. inatke with the same combo. Have since done some other mods, but the Vic's were excellent. I have now gone well beyond streetable, but satill have the Vic. Jr's and a new Super Victor intake. If you plan a 100K miles, I would go for the 331 instead.

|Carbed95GT||I think it pretty much depends on what kind of performance you're going after. I've had a 347 in my '95 since 2001. I started off by using GT40 irons, an E303 cam (which was a bit on the small side for that stroker), Cobra intake, headers, off road h-pipe and side exhaust. I was real happy with the performance as a mild street car, but I wanted something more. I ended up ditching the EFI all together, grabbing a set of Vic Jr heads, and a TFS stage 3 cam. Still very streetable, but not "mild" by any means. Holley makes a good cylinder head and all, but for all out performance, I'd probably opt for the Vic Jrs or a set of AFR heads. Just my $.02.|

I would guess that you would get another 40 hp more with the 347 kit and the Holley package.
The Holley kit will work with a 347 stroker kit.
There are a lot better heads out there that will make more power than the Holley heads. Look in Summit magazine. They have a Trick Flow package similar to the Holley one. It will make way more power.
Or, you could buy some AFR heads and pick your own intake and cam combo to go with them. This might be the way that you can make the most power and still be street able.

302 roller buildup suggestions?
I just aquired a 1988 302 HO long block from an 88 mustang for $50. I am boring .030 over and would like to put on the Holley SyteMAX II Kit from summit. The kit inludes new Holley heads, new intake, timing and cam. The ad states that with the kit, the 302 will push about 350hp. Can I use that kit in conjunction with the 347 stroker kit? Will I need to change cams because of the stroker kit? How much hp will the two push together if they work? Will the new intake from the Holley kit flow the proper amount of air required? Or would it be better to just rebuild it with the Holley kit and not do the stroker? If I use the two in conjuction, what intake will perform the best and flow the amount of air needed to fuel the beast? Thank you, billybob
