troy-curt You can paint over the primer. But it is highly recommenced that you apply a good sealer over the primer, after it is sanded.

Primer is just used to fill scratches and leveling, like where you made a repair or are featheredgeing, the least amount you wind up with under the paint, the better the paint job will be.

Like blowing on flames says, you can get a flex additive at your paint supply store.

Blowing on Flames Hansol,
Follow the recommended procedures from the paint manufacturer on their TDS, PDS, or P sheets. (whatever they call theirs). Also your local jobber will have the recommended flex additive and instructions. Bryan

Using a Primer Sealer

Hey all. In about 2 or so weeks i am ready to paint my trans am. Right now i am just coating everything in primer. What i need to know is can i just spray my paint right on top of the primer? Or do i need to use a primer sealer over top of the primer, and then paint? I've heard a bunch of different things, and sure could use the help.

Also, any ideas on where to get a flex agent for the paint and primer for urethane bumpers?

Taker er easy -Hansol
