Anyone have a picture of the cab mounts on one of these pickups. I have a set of mounts made out of hardwood that came with this truck, along with about two hundred boxes of parts. I'm trying to establish the cab height over the frame in relation to the front fenders, hood, and rear box height.
A fellow told me that Ford used a wood mount in that year, must of shook the hell out of that poor truck. Would prefer to use a rubber mount of the correct height,
cab mounts wood with long bolt and a sring about 2in long between frame andnut and washer just finished a 47 which is same cab. my n had never been apart so corect. cliff
Thanks for the info Cliff. I finally settled the cab on to the frame at a height that I can live with. Put a set of original wood mounts in with a rubber donut on top to absorb some vibration. I think they will work slick. Thanks for the input.
