54 chevy please help

It's a 54 chevy 2 door sedan. It has the original inline 6 250. I was curious about the mods that can be done to this car.I've searched the internet high and low to learn what can be done to this inline six. Needless to say I am having no luck what so ever. So all you that no the little secrets to getting a few extra horses from this motor would be appreciated, also any info you have relating to after market parts. Any info is good info so please feel free to lend me a hand.
