No guys seriously...Ok maybe not the best ever but your favorate and why it is ur fav...like obviously mine is the mustang...nothing newer than a 71...My absolute two fav's are a 1969 Shelby GT 500...Dark blue w/ black leather int...modified of corse with a 5-speed. and a 1965 Ford Mustang GT coupe drop top w/ baby blue paint job and white leather top and int...those are my babies!!!
Specs for a Duesenberg J (the SSJ was even quicker)
420ci Inline 8
DOHC (4 valves per cylinder)
Dual exhaust
265hp In 1931!
0-100mph in 20 secs
Top speed of 116
Since you never specified if it had to be a "Hotrod" or not here's my pick.
I went for a ride in a Porche 911S GT2 last year, 477HP, nearly 500ft/pds of torque and 0-60 times of 4.0 secs flat. The Germans certainly know how to build a sport cars. If you ever get the chance to go for a ride in one, take it, you will not forget it. the car is a velvet sledgehammer that rides like a bank vault on rails. In case your thinking this thing has to rev to the moon to make power the peak HP comes in at 5700 and the torque is flat from 3500-4500 rpm. A heavily modified BBC without vibration is the only comparison I can make to compare the power output and the feel behind the wheel.
Gets over 20 mpg and is quiet like a mouse...except for the sound of the turbo blowoff whistling on every shift of course.
:-D i have alot of favorites chevelle, camaro, monte carlo but my all time favorite would have to be a 67-69 camaro just because of the body style :-D they were the best
imp: and a big block under the hood with the raceing stripes too
I have lots of Favorites:
Favorite Street Rod: 1936 Pontiac Touring Sedan
Favorite Tri 5 57 210 Wagon 327 350 Turbo a/c ps pb tilt
Favorite Muscle Car 1967 GTO
Favorite Pony Car 1968 Cougar XR7 (not a belly button car)
strangely enough probably a 66 F100, custom cab 352/3 speed
painted with that aqua color and white....prolly my fav cause i know where there is one with all the parts to be restored...only 3k
1974 chevy impala!! why? easy as hell to work on, everything is so basic a baby could work on it, if ya ever do need to work on a chevy anyways. they make good racecars, nice strong front end for destroying lesser cars in one hit
!955 porsche spyder.
Why very basic ,very light and James Dean drove one also was killed in it when a station wagon turned in front of him.
