Valve spring seat pressure too high?

I have a cam that produces
Open 280 LBS @ 1.240
I was looking at springs that produce
Open 325# @1.200"

Will this pressure be too high for the cam, will it flatten out quickly?

What is the installed height, and seat pressure of the new springs vs. your old springs. Need to know the spring rate, and how much valve lift you have with the cam you use. Since the second set of springs has a figure of 325 lbs of open pressure at 1.200", and your old springs are 280 lbs @ 1.240" the comparison is not the same.

Either way, 325 lbs probably is not too stiff for any type of flat tappet cam, if you go over 350 lbs over the nose, you can begin to see lobe failures unless you take all of the necessary break in procedures as well as the proper type lubricants like racing oils or GM EOS supplement along with lots of good assembly lube.
