Pony Why not check with air ride and see what they have to say. It could save you a lot of time and trouble in the long run. I have a 53 Custom Line 4 door and cut the frame off 6" foreward of the firewall, had a buddy make a rectangular tube frame section and welded it into the old frame. I set the tube frame up for an 1980 Chrysler K-member (four mounting pads on the frame). The K-member has the complete front suspension on it. Lateral torsion bars, Disk brakes and power steering. I've had the car on the road for about 9 months now as a daily driver and couldn't be happier with how it has worked out. Pics in gallery.

cboy I don't know about a front clip - but you might look into using an AMC Pacer front suspension. I think I have heard that they will work.

Have 53 Ford Customline-Want to add air ride suspension, disc brakes, power steering..
Does anyone know of a front clip of a donor car that will fit?
