01-14-2003 10:25 AM You can keep the rams horns, add some 24" glass packs ($25ea @ Summit) or if you want to dispose of $$$, use some Borlas or other such fancy units (The Borlas do have a richer sound than glass packs). This should be as compact as you can get and give you the sound you want out the tail pipe wereh it belongs, not in the passenger conmpartment!

Exhaust suggestions for SBC 307

I have a 1970"s vintage stock 307 presently set up with stock center dump ram's horn c.i. headers (1 3/4"). I am installing a fatman IFS and it looks like I will have to replace the headers with block huggers to make room for the steering linkage. The old 37 Plymouth does not have a lot of room down under for big mufflers and pipes, but I want the thing to have a *****in' sound that does not drown out the driver. What kind of system can I install on a small budget. I'm dumping the better part of my savings into the IFS setup.
