i thought i would mention when i get in a car that the radio is set on a left wing station, i find which button is for that station, and then change it to a right wing station.
and yes, if its on a right wing station, i change it a left wing.

smoke Most of my friends are libs or lean that way and I am more conservative. I dont know why but it seems people think he is like a second comming but to hear he is ranked the same as carter I had to laugh.
When I ask my friends what obama is doing about the war and I thought in his campain he said he was going to bring the troops home, they have nothing to say. Then when I say I thought he was only going to tax people abouve 250k and point out things that are being taxed more but you dont see on your paycheck, nothing. I think the more people realy sit down and think about it they will see.
How about are big bail out plan. Seems like the people that are getting money are the rich. How is this diffrent from what people said about bush. The tax payers are paying for it and are kids and grand kids.
What is the national debt now. When bush was in office all you heard was how far in debt but now, nothing.
Ther are problems on bolth sides and they are all starting to look the same. Dems and republican.

deadbodyman Absolutly, republicrooks, dumb acrates not much differance except republicrooks will draw a line and dumbacrates just complain that you've crossed it and wait for the undecided nations to do something about it.clinton really screwed the pouch when he did nothing about the attack on the lebinon base wich in my opinion gave them the nads to come over here but like yall say this started long long time ago when the rich took over and greed ruled ,not much to do now but wait

MARTINSR He is pretty good at being fair. It's like a local radio guy we have around here, Ron Owens. He leans left but is very fair. It is SOOOOOO much easier to listen to than the far left or right.

Funny thing is, he leans left and normally the right wing nut jobs will say he is a liberal puppet. But if he knocks something a Democrat does or gives props to a Republican the left nut jobs will call him up and tell him he is right wing! LOL, cracks me up.

cranky1 I generally don't listen to talk shows or read the paper except for the business section and getting grocery store coupons but I have been listening to Beck a little and he kinda surprised me because he was attacking (wrong word?) BOTH sides! If anyone caught his show yesterday, you'll know what I mean. He's conservative for the most part but he seems to be trying to get people to start paying attention to what's going on with ALL politicians.....and how we're being duped by them. Judging by what he's been saying, he's not too happy with the Reps either.

You notice that huh?

First off, the media is liberal biased, PERIOD. Second of all, if you are listening to, reading, or watching the nut job left or the nut job right you are being fed a sham of spins and you don't even see it!

So tell me, if you read a Ford fan web site, do you get a "fair and balanced" look at Chevy? If you listen to the Dodgers radio show do you get a "fair and balanced" view of the rest of the national league? How about religion, do you get a "Fair and balanced" view of the Jewish faith on an Islamic web site? HUH?

GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR REAR!

Every once in a while I'll get into a car at work that has some left wing nut job radio station on and I have to laugh. How friggin IGNORANT it is when you hear how slanted what they have to say. And when I turn on the Michael Savage show it is pretty much the same thing in the other direction, slanted IGNORANCE.

YOU will get what you want out of these far left or far right outlets. You WILL get what you want, THAT is what they are there for. They FEED the emotions and FUEL the fire of your already slanted thoughts.

The other day I picked up my morning paper off the porch and there is a section in it regarding Obamas "First 100 days". This paper of mine is slanted left, not super left nut job but slanted left. Which is "ok" because it doesn't beat the mole hill into a mountain but it does cover the mole hill pretty good. And that's fine, I can see the difference for the most part.

But check this out, mind you, this isn't a left wing nut job paper, just your normal everyday newspaper.

So they are talking about Obamas "approval rating" at this 100 day point.

"A solid majority of Americans support Obama, with about two-thirds approving of this job performance so far. According to Gallup surveys, (Polls? edit) Obama's approval rating of 63 percent compares favor-ably with Ronald Regan's 67 percent at this stage, and higher than that of Clintons 55 percent"

Man, that sounds good don't it. Regan is regarded by many to be a great president, and Clinton to a left winger is Jesus Christ himself. So that is all sounding pretty good isn't it?

Soooooo, in this same "first 100 days" section is a chart showing the approval rating of the last number of presidents.

Carter had 63 at this point, and Nixon had 62 and Eisenhower had 74!

So what in the living hell does the big deal that he has more than Clinton mean, **** that is what it means! Why didn't they use Carter as an example in that article. , Ohhhh man that gives you the warmies don't it? Yeah "Obama has the same approval ratings as Jimmy Carter at this point, now we know something is going to get done."

Nope, they FEED YOU what you WANT to hear, "Oh my God, he is even BETTER than Clinton, OBAMA ROCKS"

The more you read of the slanted the more fuel you will have to build your slanted views. If you want balance, if you want the TRUTH, go to the middle my friends and don't be such a lemming.

The problem is you really have to watch it, like my morning paper, it is your average run of the mill paper and it is slanted left. I have noticed that when a politician does something bad, and they are Republican the name and REPUBLICAN will be in the headline of the story. When they are Democrat it WON'T, no kidding! They will bury that down in the story but when it's a Republican it is the first thing that is said. I am NOT KIDDING, keep an eye on your local paper it is a crack up.

Of course you could have one of the rare conservative papers and it is slanted in the other direction. I am not saying the left has cornered the market on spin, not in the least bit. That is my point, if you WANT to read about how bad the "other party is" read the views that feed your thoughts, you can easily find them. And when you do, you will learn NOTHING from the news.

cranky1 I really like what Glen Beck has been saying lately. It's not just the Dems or the Reps....it's ALL of them!! They both are screwing up! It's still true that when the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. Our gooberment hasn't feared us in many many years and it's high time we do something about it. We've already sent Washington a couple of notices. One with the tea parties and another darned good one....gun and ammo sales have gone through the roof! Buying gold as a hedge for when the crap hits the fan? Why, it'll only be good to make reloads with when that happens.
