PrimeMover Hiya Larry, Lately I've been busier than a one-legged man in a butt kickin' contest. The family that has been in my rental house moved out after seven years. I was glad to see them finally get a house of their own. Last couple of weeks I've been doing a low-budget remodel on the place with lots of paint, fixtures, carpet and linoleum. I've got the Delray all tore apart and for the most part, in primer. Right now it's on the back burner, in storage till I scrape up the 15 grand it will take to finish it off right.

Whoooh.. there goes the door bell man, gotta grab my Bush mask and scare a few more trick-or-treeters...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN YA'LL!!

So how's this for an election week indicator? The Washington Redskins lost today. For the last 17 years, when the Skin's have lost the last game before election day, the incumbent prez has been voted out and if they've won the incumbent has stayed in office.
damn redskins. ain't ever worth a crap.

PrimeMover, where you been?

If that Girlyman gets into office... we'll have the Blue Beret(or maybe pink), and the American Flag will be just a white flag waved by a limpwristed wimp with 3 phoney purple hearts! Kerry has a hard time deciding whether to sit or stand when he takes a leak!
All this high test rebuttal is a real hoot!

Uh huh, and Kerry's bronze star is probably phony too, NO? <chuckle> what a coinkydink... The republican swift boat guy that claimed Kerry didn't earn his bronze star got one too. He earned his in that same firefight that, according to him, never happened. I wonder if he sleeps at night knowing HIS medal is "fake" like John's?

All this "gospel truth" about either candidate has had me in stitches lately <chuckle>... So how's this for an election week indicator? The Washington Redskins lost today. RCastle I got it from him.Do you not even pay attention to what the idiot says.In every statement he makes about Iraq,he rambles on about the UN not supporting.Yep I know Bin Laden is not in Iraq, but if that needs UN supprot,so would anuthing else as far as he is concerned.Think about it.Kerry has no nuts.

Where did you get that from, one of Junior's campaign rants? Kerry supported getting Saddam but would have drummed up far more global support and evidence, or the lack of, WMD's then Bush did. Bush was under the mistaken impression that getting Saddam would kill two birds with one stone - save the Iraqis from themselves and settle the score between Saddam and his Pappy. He was about half right on the second one.
Bush's no-draft, go-it-alone mentality has stretched our military resourses so thin in the middle east that our troops in the region can't even adequaly guard a UN sealed catche of enemy munitions let alone, lead a full blown search for the REAL mastermind of 911, osama binLaden.

The way I figure it, binLaden would probably rather have Bush in the Whitehouse for a while longer. BinLaden and his taliban bride both know that while the stink of death stays fresh in Iraq, the flys are likely to stay away from the groom.

First off, we as Americans and taxpayers deserve to know which direction our leaders are headed. As far as strategic war plans go, we as civilians have never known and will never know the specific strategic deployment plans the commander in chief has in store for our troops for obvious security reasons. The problem is, under Bush, it appears we have none of the above - no strategic plan as in, sweeping serious threats such as the 377 ton explosive high-jacking under the rug then expecting the voters to believe a Bush-era draft will not happen. If it doesn't, we will run out of troops faster then we run out of money.
Bush had no entry plans going into Iraq, other then a swift victory and he had no exit plan for the same war. His small minded John Wayne style go-it-alone, kick *** and take names approach feels good and sounds good but has little affect, if any, on any real or imagined War on Terror. other then maybe the January "Kangaroo Iraqi" elections that won't happen even if he somehow Bush manages to get re-elected, he has no plan to deal with the bigger picture here.
I saw binLaden on TV tonight. That scrawny bearded ***** stated, whether Bush or Kerry get elected we won't be safe here in America and as painful as it is for me to say, I think the A-hole is right. Sitt'n on 350 tons of high test explosives that were yanked right out from under Junior's nose while he worried about tax cuts for the rich.

I think a change of regimes in the middle of THIS conflict is one hell of an idea!

Lonestar I must say that I am inspired by Bush's vigor. He is definately determined.

His determination reminds me of a joke:

Overheard on a Polish airliner..."Dear passengers, we have good news and bad news...the bad news is we're lost, the good news is we're making great time."

No offense to Polish people, but this is the feeling I get.

In all fairness, we probably shouldn't know the exact plan anyways.

I also feel that changing regimes in the middle of this conflict would be a bad idea.

Yet, I don't agree with Bush on far too many points. His administration has created jobs, but who can afford to raise a family working for minimum wage at a fast food restaraunt?

I don't have a clue how Kerry will perfom, and I am scared about Edwards being in the position to run the country if something happens to Kerry.

Cheney, on the other hand is a very direct determined individual.

I still have no idea how I am going to vote.l

By Monday night it was learned that NBC News had imbedded reporters with the 101st Airborne as they took over the facility on April 10, 2003. The conclusion of NBC, “the troops never found the nearly 380 tons of some of the most powerful conventional explosives, called HMX and RDX, which is now missing.” The Pentagon makes the same claim.

Well let's see... It's Friday night now and the word (complete with pictures people and troops to back up the claim) is already out BIG TIME. It's obviously quite troubling to the Bush administration that last year's looting of the ammo dumps in question came to light this far before the election. Iraqi insurgents systematically looted the unguarded 377 ton cache of high explosives, on a nightly basis. The pentagon was notified and stated that the problem would be dealt with - it obviously wasn't, for obvious reasons. The "party concerned" was later told there simply were not enough troops to provide even minimal security at the site.
Cheney is obviously furious with the timing of this latest revelation but is still willing to try and sweep it under the rug until after the election. Although he has absolutely NO proof, He still claims the explosives were gone long before the US invasion, even when presented with these new facts. For Cheney to make this statement, in light of all this new proof of fact, leads me to believe he's either an idiot or a liar or both.

Nationally, I have a feeling I'm not alone.
