need help with 427 build up

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get a 427 built for this summer, and really could use some advice. I was going to build a tall deck 524, but have decided to go with what I have.

I have a 2 bolt 454 block, forged crank, L88 .030 TRW's, and 840 rect. heads. What I need is a cam choice, something that will maybe bleed off some compression, so it would be somewhat streetable (weekends) and be able to run nitrous, without using race gas.

Are the rect. heads going to work at all for me, or should I look for some ovals? I am at 5000 ft. elevation, not sure if that has any secret surprises awaiting me. But I am serious about this build up, and need advice from older and wiser individuals, that have been there, done that.

This is going into a 55 210 post, with 4.11 gears, and probably a T10, until I can get the $ for a T400. Any suggestions, would be great, and very much appreciated.
