351w won't stay running help!

ok let me just start by saying this board seems to be very good. i have tried another forum and no-one there was able to help with my problem.

ok i have recently replaced the engine in my 1991 bronco with a 351w engine e40d transmission. it starts fine, no problem there but after it runs for a few seconds it lopes a couple of times and then dies. it was doing this before i pulled the motor. one thing that might help is that when i rebuilt the motor i noticed that one cylinder had busted rings and that a lot of oil was coming out of the top of the motor. also it had a flat lobe on the cam. i replaced and properly rebuilt the engine and now it sounds really mean with an edelbrock performer cam in it. i have replaced the MAP, TPS, IAC, ECT, ACT, and the engine control module but it is still doing exactly the same thing. i have also replaced the fuel pump, filter, regulator, and relay, and i am completely stumped. i have tried disconnecting every sensor(one at a time) to see if the default values would keep it going but to no avail.

it starts fine every time but it won't stay running. please help

That edlebrock cam, is it recommended for the stock computer?
I know when we rebuilt our EFI 460, we couldn't go too wild with the cam because the stock computer couldn't compensate properly.

ok it restarts with no trouble every time no problems at all with that. i have also replaced the ICM is that the same thing as TFI? i can hear the fuel pump running when it dies. it runs for just a second and then turns off. i have also replaced wires, plugs, cap, rotor, coil, and pick up. i have tried running it without the SPOUT spark advance hooked up. none of this made any difference. i have good fuel pressure i checked it and i also have a code scanner and it gives me a ECT, and ACT error even though i have replaced these 2 sensors.
i have gone through this thing systematically just replacing parts with new and nothing has helped. i am thinking it is something simple that i am overlooking.

about the cam,

i had thought of that but it is a mildly aggressive cam very streetable and have used the same cam in simular situations with no problems, also it was doing this before i rebuilt the motor and it had the stock cam in it. it was running fine when this problem started.
