67stang Thanks for the replys (now I know what these
pieces are called). I did find a supplier on
the internet mustangplace.com prices range from
29-44 bucks.

jc55 IMO, I would replace anything around the shock tower area that doesn't look good since the parts are cheap enough. This can be a problem area with stress cracks so some rust won't help the situation. I had a '67 with a big block that had these symptoms.

4 Jaw Chuck That piece is called the apron and if you can find a donor car you can replace it by unbolting it. Some cars have the apron welded in but I believe your 67 Mustang is of the bolt on variety.

Finding a donor is the trick unless they make repros of that item? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

engine compartment panel replacement

in the engine compartment the panels over the
wheels looked like they just bolt in. Is that
true. my arent in bad shape no rust on the
vertical part around shock tower and forward
of firewall. The passenger side where the fender
bolts are has an area about 4in long that is
rusted(fender is good). The parts are pretty cheap and if easy enuff I would replace when I pull the engine..
