Not pop rivet. Weld. I am talking steel. I guess it depends if he is using aluminum or steel. if Aluminum, he could weld tabs to the body to rivet to

|irocz8868||you can use your door lock cylinders to open your door. remove your handles and place your door lock cylinders at the lower part of your door. if you measure correctly you can use your exiting rods. this will allow you to open your door using your key|

When I did my S-10 I bent tabs up from the existing inner bed and spot welding to them. If you have any inner fender you mights could do this. Or, you could just spot weld it to the body like mentioned earier if it will be getting new paint. I used 3M body panel adhesive to seal the cracks. Then shot rubber undercoating over it all.
Honestly, that was one of the hardest parts of my project. I dreaded it untill it was done, and still would dread it again.

|Shawn Asseln||I installed tubs on my 73 cuda, to attach them to the body I Bent op tabs on the tubs where they matet the inside quarter about every 4 inches and spotwelded them in place. As for the gaps I filled the rest with windsheild urethane. The black do-all bodyman wonder stuff.|

If its strickly drag and the tubs are aluminum, some rivet them in and some use blind grip holders. the grip holders are almost the same as a rivet, but you can take them out and reuse them when cleaning or doing repairs on your ride.

Wheel Tub Installation
I've ordered a rear subframe kit for a '68 Nova and will be installing wheel tubs. I've researched until blue in the face, can anyone tell me, after they've been contoured to fit the fender side, how are the attached to the body?? I know I'll be riveting them to the new frame rails along with the interior kit, but don't know what to do with the outside edge. Particularly if it's aluminum and can't be stitched to the inner fender.
