Siggy_Freud Give him an offer well below what you know its worth and he is offering. Its easy to go up in price. If he accepts your first offer you know you bid too high .

1ownerT I wouldn't be surprised if it is in the $7500-9000 range.

1Fast65Elky If you want a general book value try www.nada.com ....click consumer, under the classic cars tab, then under used values pick your catagory, make model year, etc. it shows 3 ranges of prices: poor, good, and mint.

nice car...are you going to make an offer on it?

If the car is FOR SALE you never know what kind of price the owner will take on it. Happy hunting!!! Make an offer and see what kind of reaction you get.

302 Z28 My parents bought a brand spanking new 67 Chevelle Malibu in 1967 for $2900 + or -. I was 17 at the time and I ran the guts out of that car for two to three years, 283 2bbl, auto. They kept the car up until about five years or so ago when my dad put it in the news paper. He was thinking of asking $1500 for it. It had been in a number of minor fender benders and had an Earl Shieb paint job. The original 283 was still running great with about 160K on the clock. The trunk floor was just about rusted out. I told him he could get a lot more than $1500 for it and he should ask $5500. The very first guy that came by bought it without any hassle. He promptly turned it into a SS396 clone. I see it occasionally on the street and at some local shows.

It is hard to make an estimate of what the car is worth based on the pictures, but I would think it was worth at least $5000.

Chevymetal I have looked at a mix of several different 66 & 67 Chevelles over the past few months (including the Moultrie show in GA) and you would be lucky to find one in decent shape for less than $4,000-5,000.
Just from the pics you have I would guess he is asking at around $7,000 regardless of the fact it is not a stock setup. If your looking for a stock trim Chevelle fid one that is already done and save some money. If not, I would say if it runs and has a good body on it, and is less than $7k it's a good investment.
Just look around on Ebay, or Racingjunk.com and you can get an idea of what people are getting for their Chevelles.

BarryK You cannot compare the car in the picture to the ones shown on EBAY.
The one in picture is a street beater with wrong engine, bad interior and only option is power brakes. (have not see trunk or floors yet)

2,000-5,000 and only that much because of body style appeal.
Its not one someone can buy and restore to original without spending a ton of money.

Doing everything yourself and $15,000-20,000 you could turn it into a nice street rod.

willys36@aol.com My sister-in-law bought a 396 SS 4spd that color in '67 with insurance settlement money from my brother's death in a car accident. That was the most awesome car I had ever ridden in at the tender age of 17.

See this and this and this and this.

67 chevelle worth??

This Chevelle is for sale and it is pretty close to me, about a 1 hour drive, and I am curious to know what you guys think it is worth. I dont know too much about the engine, but its a 350 bored .20 over, mild cam, dart heads, he says its near 400hp, there is a rebuilt th350, both the motor and tranny have 20k miles on them, it has a 12 bolt with I think 3.56 gears and it has about 30k miles. It has 3 aftermarket gauges, and a monster tach. I will try and attach some pics, Thanks for all the help!
