|Vern Bradford||I agree with everything Willowbilly said. It is funny that you are refering to this car as an LT-1 rather than a Z-28. Willow is correct in saying that a 70 Z-28 would have an LT-1 motor...something stinks. I say steer clear. This 70 Z is worth 15-20K at Carlisle.|

|willowbilly3||A 70 LT1 would be a Z-28 and they were actually a 70 1/2 or a mid year into and fairly rare. If it has the RS nose with the split bumper it is even better. A numbers matching 70 Z-28 that hasn't been too badly molested and only needing paint (more like a full cosmetic resto) would be worth a fair chunk. More if it is a 4 speed. Take a Camero expert though because lots of people claim they have a number natching car and they really do not, maybe they just found a block with the correct codes or something.|

1970 Camaro LT1 value?
Ok......so my buddy has a 1970 Camaro...327 sbc with less than 70k on odometer...Brand New Th350 trans with less than 1000 miles on it...centerline wheels...air shocks....complete msd ignition, new intake, carb, headers. Question is a man he knows has a 1970 Camaro LT1 numbers matching car and wants to sell it and since he knows my buddy he said hed give him a good deal. Now my buddy wants to sell his and make this man an offer.....whats a good starting point price wise for selling his? and how much is a good offer for that LT1 camaro?.......any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.....btw my buddies needs some body work and complete interior work....while the LT1 needs paint.thanks
