Are you looking for the cheapest way, if so relocating the leaf springs IMO is the way to go. You can reuse a lot of the same parts. If you do use the 4-link set up this is great, but they are sometimes difficult to adjust properly. But with that said they are ADJUSTABLE so you can fine tune. You can buy complete weld in back half kits for these trucks from many vender's but they are $$$ , they are quick and easy to install. Good luck with the project and keep us posted.

Before you do anything to tear up the truck you really need to optimize your current set-up. I will tell you right now that if you go to a set of CalTracs or Slide-a-links and a good drag radial tire you will have enough traction without a major rebuild...
