55 chevy pickup

I'm new to this so here goes, I have a 55 chevy truck{ second series} that still has 235 and 3 speed.
I have a 350 out of a 69 vette that I want to put in, along with an automatic trans. and a later model rearend so I have lots of questions.
This Okie grew up in the 70's with chevelles and camaros but have never attempted a project like this so I hope I can get some help
