Can't speak for the "Stop Leak" but Restore will definitely slow it down. I used to poke fun at the stuff until a friend convinced me to try it. It does help.

I dont know if it will hurt your engine or not, but I doubt it will completly fix your leak. It may slow down the leaking and may not leak as much for a while, but it will still leak until you fix it for real.

Does The "Stop Leak" Stuff Stop the Rear Main From Leaking?
My rear main on my 327 camaro is leaking a couple of drips at a time after I stop and I was just wondering if the "Stop Leak" stuff works and will it hurt my engine. I appreciate your help.
