BarryK We have a old school bus junk yard in Cleveland GA.
Up to 1000 old buses, Jerry is going to get number for me when he drives by it again.

If he doesn't, I will go next week and see if they have what you need.

JhnBrackett Got any pictures of what one looks like? My great uncle has a complete one sitting in his yard in NH right now I believe but I'd need pics of the front end to verify.

I think that if I lived near that Rocky Mountain Relics, I'd never be seen or heard from again.

302 Z28 It has to be a 1 ton or larger. The hood from a pickup will fit, but the fenders, grill and bumper will not. He went to Fredricksberg to look at one then got a lead on one west of Dallas, just don't know where at the moment.

FrankR Are they that much different than a 48 Ford pickup? What about a 1 ton or larger Ford truck? I would think these wouldn't be too hard to come by.

I might have a source. Find out if it must be a bus. I don't think it does.

Where bouts in Dallas did he come to?

Bus parts needed!!!

Does anyone know of any 1948 Ford school buses anywhere. One of our club members has a hotrod 1948 Ford school bus that has been shortened. It has a 454 Chevy, 700R4 with a Gear Vendors overdrive. It has a host of other mods that make it an ideal cruiser to go to rod runs.

Last week he was returning home from a rod run and had an altercation with a teenager in a Cavalier who ran a stop sign. He is in need of some front end sheet metal, hood, Fenders, grill and bumper. This weekend he ran up to Dallas and looked at a couple he had some leads on, but they were all too far gone. He is willing to to do some traveling if the prospects are promising.
