machine shop tom I have a set of heads from a Jasper marine engine (305 Chevy) heads in my shop right now. While the problem wasn't Jasper caused (leaky marine water-cooled exhaust manifold), upon inspection the heads (very few hours on them) were very hit-and-miss in the quality department. On head is in fairly good shape, the other one has very loose exhaust guides and probably should be replaced with another casting.

BOBCRMAN@aol.com Quit buying Jasper rebuilds many years ago because of Warranty problems. Switched to another major rebuilder and have had only one major warranty problem in over fifteen years. (Customer lost a motor in Texas). They took care of the problem very well.

1931 steve I have used many Jasper engines for customer cars. They are over priced with a good warranty. Other than the warranty does not cover the total labor cost. I have had a few problems with workmanship, a couple had loose head bolts (leaking head gaskets). Many more troubles with there trans. Now I have found a VERY good builder of engines and also a GOOD trans builder. So i haven't bought a Jasper for over 8 months. All in all they are a good product.

Jasper Engines

I recently decided to replace my '72 Ford 351C. I rebuilt it about 8yrs ago and I don't think I want to go that way again. I'm looking at a Class II Jasper 351C, and it seems to have alot of good stuff inside. Has anyone used a Jasper engine and what do you think of there product?
