Slickriffs Geeze you guys may have solved a medical mystery for me..
I've had sever pain from my waistline down to my legs for about
two weeks now..I keep re-thinking what I did the day before
I got this...and I can't think of anything strenuous..

However I did roll my '55 Chevy truck basket case out of the garage
and fired it up and ended up putting in another distributor..timing it..
playing with the carb bla bla bla..All work done in either a crouched position or leaning in..Didn't realize that's all it took..

Send me a bill..

MrsBondoQueen In refrence to Jim's post....... Staying away from Matthew could be a good tip....... because he always has so much going on, but on the other hand even sick ...... I CAN NOT resist him therefore I chose to help sand my own truck. If I must say so myself I do a darn good job sanding and I'm pretty quick with that DA. If more people knew my skills they would beg me to do there sanding. So my tip is get a cute chick to do your sanding ...... it makes time go by so much faster.

Bee4Me I dropped my time card on the floor once and bent over to pick it up and ended up laying on the floor.
"How did you hurt your back?"
"Lifting a piece of paper."
Try getting workmen's comp to buy that one.

jcclark I believe it. I've never hurt my back picking up something heavy.
Maybe I'm just more cautious when doing that, everytime I've
hurt myself it was by twisting, once with an empty plastic garbage can.
It's when you least expect it, just turning the wrong way.
I have to be more carefull with real fat women now.

pigman if it makes you guys feel any better, a buddy of mine threw his back out buttering toast one morning..... i don't get it either.. but it happened.. he could barely walk for 2 weeks

Beenaway2long Well,on 7-20, I blew out my right knee. Had it operated on 2 weeks ago, felt great, Moved a pallett of stuff in the warehouse Tuesday, Started hurting again. After a great deal of kicking MY OWN butt for being stupid, it felt great Saturday. Sunday morning, I feel super, so I figure I could FINALLY get back out to the shop to do SOMETHING, other than sitting around with my leg propped up. So I jump on the tractor, did a bit of brush hogging, then went to take the attachment of the tractor. Guess what, while trying to protect my knee, I popped something in my Left elbow!! Guess who's REALLY pissed off?

jcclark Thanks BondoQUEEN!!!!
No I wasn't carrying anything improperly.
I just twisted the wrong way when I was reaching up inside
a door to reinstall the door handle. I'm sore but not
out of commission. I have still been working, I'm just a
little slow getting up and down.
My tip of the day should be to stay away from Matthew,
he had his wife (who is sick right now) out there yesterday
helping him sand a truck!!!!
Have you no shame???? If you can't handle the work without
mamma helping then..........

kenseth17 It also seems when you own a truck, you have more friends then when you don't.

baddbob I just spread and leveled 4000 square feet of topsoil in my front yard yesterday and today, glad my back didn't give out but it sure is sore. I'll be sure to be carefull installing door handles from now on, thanks for the tip!

Loading and spliting firewood is usually what screws my back up. You Southern guys don't know how lucky you've got it. Bob
