38Chevy3WCoupe I'm sure some of you have seen this, but this website gives a good insight to what it takes to build a car. This one happens to be a glass body, but that doesn't make it any easier or harder or better or worse than steel.

Creativity is the word, need to modify this and that. Have to shave the bushings on the brakes I have to fit the caliper to the rotors. This is only a minor thing so far, yet, I am only beginning. I think I look at it more and ponder than actually make progess on the Outlaw sedan.

Well, I for one object to that term.....and I do not have one..

I only build real Henry Ford original body cars......
I am patient and have been persistent......and throw in a touch of LUCK...

My steel 32 3W......I chased it for almost 10 years.....but I had a real 32 Ford roadster to keep me busy...Chased the roadster for almost 10 years too....
NOW if I wanted another car ( say like a 41 Willys coupe ) I would most likely go the reproduction fiberglass route.....I have not got 10 more years to chase and HOPE I could find one......or afford one if I did. Anyone who has ever built a fiberglass rod........would know that it is more difficult to build one than a original Ford body Rod....

IF you start with a GOOD original Ford body...... you just have to restore the body and update the frame to take the new driveline..... With a reproduction body and frame......almost nothing from the restoration suppliers will fit the repro body...and you have to be creative......Some succeed and many do not......

Figured someone somewhere may look and get the gander up. I thought it kind of funny to see something like that on the DIY net. Almost makes a person think anyone can make a car or rod.

At least no one brought up the "Kit" car. By the way, who owns one of those cars and put a led in the hood?

poncho62 Last that I heard, there was about 50 of these companies selling Cobra kits.......It's about the most common kit car around.
