grouch That's a good, clean grafting of that grill to the truck. Smoothing out all those places helps it a lot, too.

grouch I don't think I'm ever going to see it. That photobucket must have a hole in it. Every time I try to view this thread, it pauses with just a part of each photo showing, then waits and waits and waits. Wassamatta, has Jon complained doesn't have the space to store photos?

MARTINSR I think you did a GREAT job. I don't think I would do that on a real truck though, if it was done, a LOT more mods would be needed to make the whole package work.

Hippie and you did a pretty decent job too.

First attempt at Photochopping

Ok, here's a pristine '55 GMC 3/4 ton pickup I found not far from my house - no, I't not for sale - I've tried...

And here's my attempt at putting a 2001 GMC Denali grill on it and filling in the holes where the turn signals and gravel pan used to be...

I know my skills with Photoshop leave a lot to be desired, but what do you think of the look of this truck? I think Frenched headlights would help a lot. Maybe some Mercury headlight rims and some sealed-beam to Halogen conversions with the turn signals built in...

Oh well, just playing and figuring stuff out...
