|Hippie||Black would look nice but it gets so stinkin' hot! How about a medium pearl gray or silver for the dash, window and other metal trim, light grey upholstrey for the seats and side panels and a darker gray for the carpet and kick panels?|

Black, charcoal, grey are any shade of all those, but not tan with a red exterior please. The interior pieces would look good painted the exterior color, but they would also look good painted the color of your interior. Your paint jobber can get pretty close on any interior colr you choose.

I think the black interior would look good with the red outside, but its a matter a opinion. I hate picking colors because i always like so many different colors, takes me forever to pick one.
Can you post some photos of it now?

Interior Color Choice??????
I have a 49 Chevy custom with newer updates. I am painting it a 2003 Chevy blaze red metallic pearl. I am thinking of a black interior. I already have some nice front seat that are a black & gray tweed (marble they call it). I am not opposed to other interior colors, just wondering if I paint red, should the dash and garnish moldings be interior color or exterior, or maybe even something totally different? Tradition would say red exterior, black interior cloth would mean black steel dash and garnish moldings. What do you all think? Thanks in advance for the ideas.
