Drop of water in the base

I just sprayed some Nason Ful-Thane and I got a water drop on the base coat. After thinking about it the only thing it could have come from was the outlet on the respirator. How should I go about getting this out? Tackle it like any other junk in the paint? Sand and reshoot the area or do I have to do the whole panel? It fell after the first coat flashed and I was applying the second coat.

Scode.... I would check the air lines for water. A few years ago, I had problems with water in my lines. They didn't appear to be leaking air, but I got water out of the fitting at the gun. I have talked to others that had the same thing happen to them.

To repair mine, I did just wipe it off lightly after a few minutes and shoot another coat over it, before clearing. No problems with the finished product.

It definitely came from the mask. The drop shrunk up a bit (water dried) but it’s still noticeable.
