TucsonJay I do concept drawings, so I am always looking for photos to work from, or if possible drawings to save customers a few dollars.

In my surfing, I found this site which offers drawings of many different popular models. This would give you a starting point for your own designs.

I started this thread some time ago, and today I took a project photo and it is very close to one of my original sketches. The car still needs to be completed in flat black.
take care Dave

pasadenahotrod Guys, the man is a VW man! That car in the garage is a VW or a Fiero not a freakin' Lambourghini!
I must say, using a hood at both ends of the VDub is very clever, and eliminates the uglies at the tail. This would qualify as a "SPECIAL" in the days of yore! Good work, I like it so far.

swoodard23 Yes. It is a diablo replica that I was working on. Ebay helped me with that car a long time ago. I actually sold both cars and bought a little 356 speedster replica which is the most fun car I have ever owned.

swoodard23 No deep pockets here. That volks rod cost me less than $1000 to get it a little past that point. Feel free to browse my photobucket. I'm to lazy to post more pics

creativeinteriors Well I just had to.

Here's a caricature of a Porsche speedster from a cocktail napkin I did 10 years ago now at lunch with the other Industrial design students while I was at Center for Creative Studies. They make you render "clean" all day and it was our lunch time practice to challenge each other to do these from memory in 15 minutes or less.

Some good work out there and some good cracks at it. Keep on sketching!!
