302 Z28 The two flwheels are 153 and 168 tooth. You must combine the proper starter with the appropriate flywheel.

What ring gear works with 700R4 & 350?

I hear there are two "flywheels" that work with 700R4 and 350 Chevy engine. I just bought a used 700R4, a 92 Camero.... I did not get the ring gear and some other parts, the output shaft, the inspection cover.... How many teeth are on the gear? I have a ring gear sitting in the garage.... Only way I know how to tell is bolt it on and see if the starter makes it go... is there some other way?

Thanks a ton

PS I'm freezing here in Michigan! Garage is 21 degrees! Hurry up spring!
