Bill,

Brians suggestion sounds like a good MetalMeet project. If you had the information (maybe a flexible shape pattern) from the appropriate door you could build a new one.

Seems like they might make fiberglass doors (don't know about sedan), but know idea where to find steel. angliaobsolete.com
I checked with Dean [owner of anglia obselete] and he said that he use to import doors and other body parts,, but the shipping was so expensive that he discontinued it,, I might just have to either forget the idea of changing them or suck it up and find some in the uk,, the swap meets are coming up soon, real big one here in Oregon in april, always see a couple of anglias for sale there,
Adv, Design,, actually the doors on a sedan and thames panel are the same shape,, except the sedan is 10" wider, so I could move the strike jam back that amount . split the door ,and fill in the gaps, piece a cake,,, Huuuummmm where do I start,???? probably be better off leaving them alone,,, Bill

advanced design Bill,

If your search doesn't turn up any is there a car you could obtain the pattern from and build them?
01-02-2006 05:19 PM
Bad Rat I been thinking about that alot Brian,, my thoughts about them destroying that car run a little deeper than what you called them, that was a prime specimen, what were they thinkin?? but Jessy is da man he thinks,

MARTINSR Not to change the subject, but did you guys see what they did to that poor little Anglia on Monster Garage?

Bastards.

As far as the meet is concerned I do not have a clue at this time..Maybe the ole guys gotta get after it and get it done..just need to set dates as far as I am concerned..

OneMoreTime Bill,
Bout the best I can do for you is to try www.car-part.com there may be a wrecker that has some of those doors..Next best is to stretch the ones you have..I know you can do it..just a pile of work..
