M&M CUSTOM Remove the four wheel drive transmission, transfer case and driveshafts.

Replace with a two wheel drive transmission and a longer rear driveshaft.

Nothing detrimental will happen to the truck with all of the four wheel drive components left in the front end of the truck, whether they are used or not.

You didn't say which wheels you wanted to drive off of

Henry Highrise There is no convenient have to change the frontend out then eleminate the transfer case etc. and put in a longer driveshaft. It would be much simpler to just sell the 4 wheel drive and buy a 2 wheel drive.

4wd to 2wd conversion

If I have a 97-2000 ford f 150 or a silverado whats the most convinient way to convert the 4 wheel drive system to rear wheel drive?
