cruiser22 i had a sensor go bad about 6 months ago and i changed the plugs/wires thinking that was the problem,, that didnt help so when after another month i finally got that problem fixed, i changed the plugs again b/c the mech. told me that 2 and 4 was missing, but the way they have every thing crammed under that hood its near impossible to do it easily. so im thinking i may have screwed up somewhere when putting on the new plugs, the weather doesnt seem to change anything

1931 steve What shape are the spark plugs and wires in? How long have they been on the engine, miles and age? Does it do it hot or cold, wet or dry?

hey guys, i have a 2001 s-10 2.2l, and ive just about got all the bugs worked out of it regarding the engine. however im having a serious problem that happens betwn. 45 and 60, for some reason it acts like im letting off the gas while cruising down the highway. only happens when maintaining current speed, never when im accelerating or slowing down. not only can you hear it but you can feel it as well. no problems with the gauges, no check engine light. i was thinking it might be missing, maybe needs new plugs/wires.

anybody have any suggestions of what might be happening or a fix?

thanks in advance
