By the way they aren't a cheap alternative to fixing the one you have.

If your truck has an under the bed tank try Rock Valley:

49_chevy_truck These have been some good places to check, but they are selling "in the cab" tanks. The tank I have could (might??) be fixable, but I thought I would check on a new one first.

robin58 Did yours have the tank below the bed? I believe Americanclassic used to carry those but think they were discontinued. You might also want to try Golden State Pickup Parts who also sell some used parts if they don't have access to a replacement.

49_chevy_truck Those places have gas tanks, but not specifically for the 47-48 which is what I want. It may be confusing considering my moniker.

Centerline Try Chevy Duty or Brothers or American Classic Truck Parts. All of them should have what you're looking for.

Does anybody know where I can get one of these tanks?
Thanks in advance.
