BOBCRMAN@aol.com there are several different tailshafts for the 700-r you just have to find the one that works for you, try a good trans shop.

HotRod31 My 700r uses the same mount as a turbo 350. I use the early type with 2 bolts in the bottom (newer ones use a single stud, I beleive)

Transmission mount

Greetings,

I have a 93 corvette engine and transmission that I will soon be installing in my 48 ford pickup. I recently bought a transmission crossmember kit from a hotrod dealer but the rubber mount doesn't fit. The tail shaft on the 700r4 appears to be different than the standard one. Any ideas or suggestions?
